A Bit About Me
I have always loved painting. Since childhood painting in all mediums was totally my thing. I dabbled in it all, watercolor, oil, and acrylics. I have settled upon acrylics, it is a good fit as I flit from paintings to decorative painting on furniture. I paint mainly on mdf hardboard, I prefer its sturdiness; I once had a canvas rip during transport, and the heartbreak was real! I also prefer the smooth quality of hardboard, so it feels like a win/win to me.
Being a full time artist has been a blessing beyond measure. It has allowed me to work from home as my husband and I raised our two children, now adults. I have met some really wonderful people, both clients and fellow creators, whom have become lifetime friends. I have been also able to continuously fulfill that creative thing that exists within me. For all those reasons and more, my gratitude runs deep.
This website is to be used as a gallery, to see what art I have done in the past. It’s important to note that none of the paintings are available. If you are interested in purchasing a painting of mine, I sell my art at Mama’s Happy in Independence and St. Louis Park, MN.
